There are 2 types of play styles on The Darkside Shard.

PK (Player versus Player).

When you pick PK as your choice of play style, You start with

75 skill in all combat, anatomy, magery, and magic resistance.

Choosing this type you are not safe from Player attack,

limited safe zones, but have better drop rates on certain custom loot.

NonPK (Safe versus Player).

When you pick NonPK as your choice of play style, You start with

50 skill in magery, magic resistance, parry, and tactics.

Choosing this type you are safe from Player attack.

After you create your character, you will be ported to the start room

You double click the start stone to begin.

Starting Stone

First you will see the welcome menu.

After you click the next menu button,

You will get the skill menu.

On here you choose 3 skills set to 60.0,

Once you have finished choosing skills,

Click the Okay button, Welcome to TDS.
