Well we finished the inactive account clean tonight, so if you did not contact Drastic on the boards before today, then your account/character is no longer on the server. We feel that in giving you a month's time to either reactivate or make other arrangements to save your character, should of been made. We do understand with all the new games out today, that there was a chance some of you would not return, so in an effort to keep your name sake alive, there is the link of past contributors, that either donated financially or with time as staff, on the left side menu. |

As long as we can remember on here, crafting has been an important draw to TDS, over the next few months I will be tweaking some of the crafting items, some being added and updated now, carpentry, tinkering, and alchemy have had a few things added to them. The light sources are now exclusively craft able with the tinkering skill. |

We here at TDS relish the past, and appreciate how through the years, the player base, and staff, have supported and helped create Our community, The Darkside Shard. Now we want to hear from you personally and would like to know what your future plans are with us here at TDS. Some of your accounts are on our safe list, but we want to make a new, current safe list. (please read below)
If you are currently an active player, you do not need to register your account, and we do not want you logging on multiple accounts to refresh, or creating secondary accounts on the forums to save their account. (inactive accounts only)
There are alot of accounts that we have been saving for you older players chance to return, but with the ever increasing number of games, and ones still coming out, we understand that alot of the accounts on hold, will not be returning to play. Right now these accounts/char/items are just sitting on the server taking up memory and space in the files, so trying to be fair to the new and current player base, we expect you to do your part by either returning to play TDS or letting the staff know you that you won't be coming back. This means you active players will have to contact your old friends, and let them know about their accounts, tell them what needs to happen if they want to save it.
You will be required to contact Drastic via pm on or before 2-11-08, sending your account info, and this must be your personal account. (not friends) |

We we here at TDS hope that bringing in the New year was a good and safe one for you and yours, there was some events and gifts were handed out, so if you were there thanks and we hoped you enjoyed yourself.
For the next month we will do the donation bonus, which means you can take advantage of getting extra donation tokens, with an average donation. Same rules apply. For every $20 dollars donated to the server, you will receive 4 free dt's, anyone that donates $50 dollars will receive 10 free dt's,
donations of $100+ dollars will receive 25 free dt's. This will expire Feb 1st 2009, so don't miss out. |
